Indoor Ceremony Inspiration | Part I of II
The wedding ceremony is really at the heart of what an entire wedding day is all about, which is why I'm truly delighted to share some ceremony inspiration brought together by a fantastic team of Manitoba vendors. This collection of images is actually just one of two distinct looks that this team created for a spacious light-filled interior, which would suit a couple who wants the fine art aesthetic for their wedding, but is restricted to an indoor affair.
One of the great things about a styled ceremony shoot is that we can see what a ceremony would look like without sound equipment looming in the background or guests leaning into the aisle snapping photos with their cell phones. If you're a vendor looking to submit a wedding to Vale + Vine, these are a couple of key elements that I avoid publishing because, quite frankly, they detract from what's most important. If you're planning a wedding, here are a few to tips to ensure more beautiful photographs during the ceremony:
- Set up sound equipment off to the side so the photographer can capture the scene without hulking black speakers distracting the eye.
- Ask guests to kindly keep their phones away for the ceremony (or at least while anyone is walking up or down the aisle)
- Politely request that the officiant move off to one side for the bride + groom's kiss. You can do this at the rehearsal, but mention it to the photographer so they can kindly remind the officiant just before the ceremony begins.
Stay tuned for Part II coming next week with a completely different look in the same space. See below for vendors.
