Wooded Spring Bridal Inspiration from Manitoba
I love showing off the work of some of my favourite vendors out there, and today's feature highlights the exceptional talents of floral + wedding designer, Lauren Wiebe of Stone House Creative and fine art film photographer Brittany Mahood, both of whom I had a chance to meet in person last year in Manitoba. Lauren has provided her vision for the shoot seen here, so I'll just go ahead and let her share that with you...
"I created this shoot for the launch of my new website, and wanted to highlight my personal organic aesthetic, while pulling together some of my favourite things - a dreamy pastel palette, natural textures, a verdant, forest-like location, with contrast brought in from strong, modern type stationery.
I'm a big believer that it's the little touches that make a big difference in an overall design, and often these are the places where a design is modernized - a twisted napkin rather than a folded one, a thin line outlining the stationery suite, a simple ponytail with a soft feel." -- Lauren Wiebe, Stone House Creative
I love Lauren's ability to ensure each minute detail is woven well into the overall vision and Brittany's appreciation for nuance and how to capture another vendor's vision. If you like Mûr Lifestyle, a Canadian purveyor of wholesome home goods, take a closer look at the photography, which is beautifully done by Brittany. Both Lauren + Brittany's work and contact details can be found in Vale + Vine's Fine Art Vendor Guide, so head on over and check them out!
