Rural Ontario Elopement
Only weeks before their scheduled wedding date, Matt + Britney made the decision to elope with only their parents and attendants as guests at their wedding ceremony. While an intimate wedding or elopement isn't for everyone, I can almost guarantee it crosses most couples' minds as an option when the stress of details and dynamics start to weigh heavy. I believe there a unique feel and authenticity that come with both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations, but the two intimate Ontario weddings I recently had the pleasure of seeing in my inbox really drew me in. Not because the details were so on point or extravagant, or because the setting caught my breath, but because of how truly intimate these occasions were and how photographer Tara McMullen truly made me feel like I'd been there experiencing the couples' joy for myself. Today you're getting a glimpse at Matt + Britney's rural Ontario wedding, and in the next couple weeks, you'll have the chance to see another rural Ontario affair sure to tug on your heartstrings (oh and the bride's dress is pretty great too!). Thanks so much to both of these couples and Tara McMullen Photography for a glimpse into such intimacy.
