Vancouver Wedding Portraits under the Blossoms
For many, the highlight of springtime in Vancouver is the exuberant show of blossoms on display. Pink petals dust the streets, spraying like confetti when caught in the breeze of side street traffic, and a celebratory mood fills the air as spring erupts from shy buds and bursts onto the scene delivering sheer delight to the masses. So what more perfect time of year than this to throw a wedding and have one's bridal portraits taken under a canopy of blossoms. To add to the celebratory feel, the bride Alison opted for hand tied bouquets of tulips (which represented her Dutch heritage) along with mint green dresses for her bridesmaids. Brett's three-piece navy suit and the groomsmen' coordinating grey ones provided a fitting contrast to the pastel hues and bright blooms, without overpowering the soft, romantic ambience.
