Fall Anniversary Portraits in the Smoky Mountains

This week on Vale + Vine we are welcoming fall colours in with this intimate anniversary shoot in the Smoky Mountains, shot by Erika Parker. Filled with nature's finest autumn hues, this anniversary shoot for Brooke + Mitch is perfect for viewing with a mug of hot cider or tea and your favourite pumpkin-flavoured treat. Here are a few words about the shoot from both Erika and Brooke.

"I've always wanted to see the fall colors in the Smoky Mountains so I planned a trip to the Smokies as a little getaway. I invited Brooke, from Brooke Casey Weddings, to come along. It was the same week as her husband's birthday and their wedding anniversary, so there was quite a lot to celebrate! We planned an anniversary shoot for Brooke and Mitch with a breath taking view of the mountain range. It was a week that definitely did not disappoint." -- Erika Parker

"Mitch and I celebrated 10 years on March 12, 2016 and it will be our 3rd wedding anniversary October 12, 2016. We always considered ourselves 'beach people' but when the opportunity arose to go to the mountains, we thought 'why not!?' We quickly learned that we are also 'mountain people' when we saw the gorgeous views of the changing colors of the trees from our cabin in the mountains. It was so peaceful sitting in the hot tub and soaking in those sunsets." -- Brooke Casey
