Silver + Gold Heirloom Bridal Portraits
This week Vale + Vine has the pleasure of sharing the first of two shoots from the LENS (Love Each New Shoot) Workshop shot at the Holcim Waterfront Estate in Ontario. The first heirloom-inspired bridal portrait session features a winding staircase fully encased in decadent florals, classic European-styled interiors, and the 'Alexandra' gown by Canadian designer Truvelle Bridal, all photographed beautifully by workshop host Artiese Studios. This heirloom look is perfect for a winter wedding that veers away from traditional winter styling and dark, rich hues, and instead relies on silver and gold accents, and cool blues and whites to impart a light, ethereal feel. Lastly, the dramatic blue studio background evokes a timeless appeal and offers brides another indoor alternative when winter weather prevents outdoor photography. For more inspiration from the LENS workshop, check back next week for a second instalment. And if heirloom bridal looks are what you're after, this blue + gold heirloom shoot along with this lavender + cream indoor styled session are sure to inspire.
