While the fine art film look is known for its heavy West Coast influences, it's been great to see photographers from eastern Canada spreading the look throughout their communities and championing the beauty of fine art wedding photography. Enchanted Garden Shoot on Vancouver Island

Today is Vale + Vine's 50th post. In the 9 years I've been blogging about my travels and my photography work on my personal blog, I have likely published more than 50 posts, but 50 in 2 months (10 weeks to be exact)? Well that's a new level of blogging commitment for me that just feels like something to celebrate!

Natural Light Portraits from Ellebay Bridal

These naturally lit bridal portraits were photographed at Ellebay Bridal in New Westminster, and outdoors in Vancouver, BC by Lily Ann Photography, and highlight such pretty details by dress designer Merly Bayona that I couldn't resist showcasing them on Vale + Vine. This gown would be perfect for both formal or more relaxed weddings, and works well both indoors and outdoors. Whisk me away to some exotic locale? Well, okay, twist my arm. I can't say many Canadians or really anyone who experiences a good bit of winter would argue against this invitation.
