Serene Bridal Portraits with Festive Florals

The Christmas season is often characterized by a frenzy of activity and a barage of planning and parties, but I think it's important to reclaim Christmas as a season of peace.  We can get so easily caught up in all the festive and even truly meaningful aspects of the holiday, but slowing down and considering the meaning of Christmas, the loved ones (and the not-so-loved-ones) who need a special dose of generosity and inclusion, and the tender moments of peace that too easily slip by, are so very important.  One of the reasons why I love the bridal looks featured here is that they convey a sense of festivity and celebration, but are equally peaceful and serene due to both the natural surroundings, the styling choices, and the photography.  I think this shoot sends a pertinent message to both brides planning weddings and all of us enjoying the Christmas season: that calm + celebration can coexist, and when they do, the result is utterly memorable.  For more bridal inspiration for the holidays, check out this red + gold inspirational shoot.
