Australian Engagement Session on Bondi Beach

I think international travel is one of the things that Canadians do best. We adapt, we're polite (generally speaking, unless watching hockey) and we carry with us a sense of wonder that I believe endears us to the cultures and communities we encounter around the globe. Now I'm not saying we travel better than others, or that there aren't those of us that taint the Canadian reputation, but on the whole, I think this is one badge of honour most of us can proudly bear. That being said, I always love seeing work by Canadian photographers who venture elsewhere and bring home their inspiring images to share.

This engagement session for Julia + Nicholas by Whitney Heard Photography of Toronto, was shot at Bondi Beach, in Australia, and evokes quite a different look than Canadian coastal shoots. As we head into the fall season and contemplate the return of cooler temperatures and cozier wardrobes, I know there are those of you who will mourn the passing of summer. Fear not sunshine lovers, there's always the southern hemisphere, where spring is on the way!
